I absolutely love this fabric, it's exactly what I was looking for.

This was my first time ordering fabric from PureSilks and from an online retailer, and I couldn’t be happier. I’m using this fabric for a cosplay I’m making and the design I needed was very specific and hard to find (I wanted to get as close to the real thing as I could). I spent HOURS scouring fabric stores in person and online retailers, and none of them had anything close to what I was looking for except for PureSilks. I was very hesitant to order from them originally because one, it’s an online retailer so you don’t know how well the real thing compares to what’s pictured; and two, they’re based outside the US (where I’m from). I spent an unbelievable amount of time going back and forth, before finally deciding to trust what reviews of PureSilks I could find (there weren’t a lot but they were all positive). I needed to be sure it’d arrive in time so I paid for express shipping, which was $55 for me (I think the cost depends on the cost and quantity of the fabric you buy). Although it got here very fast, I would’ve liked a bit more info on how long shipping takes because their description isn’t very clear. They say they ship to the rest of the world (i.e. outside India) with DHL (~5-7 days) and Indiapost (~1-5 weeks). I didn’t know whether paying for express shipping meant they’d use DHL, and if you didn’t pay for express shipping, they’d send it via Indiapost. In the end, it shipped via USPS from New Jersey and took 9 days to arrive. This makes me think they have a US warehouse there and they had it in stock. To me, I’d imagine they use USPS for orders placed in the US, DHL for orders placed in Europe, and Indiapost for orders placed in India (although I can’t say for sure if that’s the case). I’m not sure how long it’d take if you don’t pay for express shipping, but I needed it quick so I decided better safe than sorry. When the fabric arrived, I recorded myself opening it so I’d be able to use it as evidence in case I needed a refund. This was an expensive purchase for me, and also being my first time ordering fabric both online and from PureSilks, I was nervous as to what it’d look/feel like when it arrived. I’m not exaggerating when I say I gasped and my jaw was practically on the floor when I opened the package! The silk was exactly as pictured online, but even more beautiful because I was holding it! It’s buttery smooth, very lightweight, and overall super soft and comfortable. The reverse side is basically an inverted version of the design (i.e. the front/what’s pictured is black with silver swirls, while the reverse is silver with black swirls), so you could use either side if you wanted. I also double-checked to be sure it was 4 yards, and it was. I was blown away by the quality and would definitely purchase from them the next time I need elaborately-detailed, high-quality silk! This was worth every penny! I would HIGHLY recommend this brand, but I’d still be sure to email them beforehand to ask about shipping times if you need it by a certain date (i.e. to see whether you really need to pay for express shipping). This is the 4th time I have bought this beautiful silk to make my Lavender filled cushions with and my customers love them. The colours are so bright and vibrant. And working with PureSilks is a real pleasure.

The print is elegant and classic with an equestrian vibe. I'll be making pendant flush mounts with this for my entryway. Beautiful quality, too.
